Making an appointment is simple

Step 1: Make sure you are fit for a massage

Prior to the massage visit, ensure you don't have any skin irritations (such as poison ivy or a sunburn), or other medical problems that might cause issues. Be sure to drink plenty of water and stay hydrated.

Step 2: Fill out an intake form

There will be an intake form waiting for you in the lobby. It typically takes about 15 minutes to fill out and complete a consultation with the therapist. If you feel that you have a number of health concerns to address, coming in sooner to allow for a more thorough consultation would be recommended. During the consultation, we will go over the intake form so we can gain a better understanding of what your needs are.

Step 3: Get Conformable

We will always knock before entering the room. If you feel any discomfort for any reason, please don't be apprehensive to ask. We are here to give you the best experience and communication will certainly provide that. Some examples may be: music is too loud, table warmer is hot, lights are too bright, etc. This is your room for the hour.

Step 4: Enjoy Your Massage

The session will end exactly one hour from the scheduled appointment time. For follow up visits, please arrive early to discuss any current problem areas, ask any questions, use the restroom, etc.

Please download, print and complete the following forms prior to your appointment.

Intake Form Terms and Conditions

STRICT 24-HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY. Your appointments are very important to the staff here at Touch of Balance, LLC. A form of alternative medicine that uses volatile plant materials, known as essential oils, and other aromatic compounds for the purpose of altering a person's mind, mood, cognitive function or health. These oils can be applied topically, taken internally, and inhaled aromatically. DoTERRA essential oils are known for their pure therapeutic grade and can be used during your massage.
Aromatherapy will be provided to initiate deep breathes of relaxation. The first massage is always the "postural analyzation" visit. As massage therapists, we "tune in" to the body and recognize areas that may need additional work. They can be discussed during the massage or after, depending on if you enjoy conversational or quiet massage sessions.

This plan involves a complete assessment to determine the hindering and painful conditions of the body. A treatment plan is developed to achieve goals to reach optimal results. Rather than full body massages every visit, we will address the conditions more specifically and then evaluate the results. Depending on the severity of each individual’s condition, treatment plans may require more frequent and consistent visits to reach corrective care results. Stretches, exercises and care protocols will be issued to prolong the massage effects and continue the healing process at home. This treatment plan would be ideal for a victim of sports injuries, work related injuries, and car accident injuries.<br>

What is a chair massage?

The chair massage is done in a specially designed portable chair that supports all areas of your body. This allows you to relax much more than sitting in a regular chair. It positions your body to be conveniently worked on by a well-trained therapist. This position allows intensive work in specific areas or relaxation techniques in a more general approach. Not only will you receive a massage but you will get education on your body and ways to improve overall health.

How long does it last?

For the first visit, the client’s session is about 15 minutes. This allows for a quick survey to be filled out upon arrival, the chair massage session, and a discounted table massage coupon. Also, a possible solution may be suggested. For future chair massage visits, the client can choose a maximum of 20 minutes.

The event is complimentary with the appreciation and acceptance of tips. Thereafter, the standard $1/Minute rule applies.

How does this work?

The chair event takes little effort and some coordination skills to set up. The therapist will provide you with a sign-up sheet in which each employees/guests can pick their most convenient time of arrival. This will be distributed approximately 2 weeks in advanced in order to have adequate time to inform everyone about the event and sign up. The amount of employees/guests that are interested will determine how long the therapist will stay.
