A form of alternative Chinese medicine that promotes healing, increases blood circulation, alleviates muscular tension, and removes toxins from the body. It is a great addition to a deep tissue therapy routine or if you feel a cold coming on. Bruising is a typical result of this treatment due to the high increase of blood circulation. DoTERRA’s On Guard oil is used as a natural antibiotic after the pores have been opened to release toxins.
The raindrop technique involves the amazing power of essential oils, mixed with a variety of massage techniques including back massage and heat application. This technique is designed to bring the body back into structural and electrical alignment. Often many types of spinal problems and misalignments are caused by toxins that lie dormant within the spine. The use of essential oils helps to dispose of these viruses within the spine, helping its structure return to normal. Raindrop Therapy includes 2-4 drops of Basil, Cypress, Marjoram, Oregano, Peppermint, Thyme, Wintergreen, Grapefruit and Lavender oils along the spine.
This plan involves a complete assessment to determine the hindering and painful conditions of the body. A treatment plan is developed to achieve goals to reach optimal results. Rather than full body massages every visit, we will address the conditions more specifically and then evaluate the results. Depending on the severity of each individual's condition, treatment plans may require more frequent and consistent visits to reach corrective care results. Stretches, exercises and care protocols will be issued to prolong the massage effects and continue the healing process at home. This treatment plan would be ideal for a victim of sports injuries, work related injuries, and car accident injuries. The normal recommended amount of treatment is 8 weeks.
This is a versatile type of massage that can be both calming and gentle, or deep and effective for unwinding tight tissue. Swedish massage relieves stress and tension in your muscles and will leave you shining with a sense of wellbeing. It also enables you to become more "in tune" with your body as you relax and enjoy the massage.
A specialty massage that uses smooth, heated stones, either as an extension with the massage, or by placing them on the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply and more quickly without it being overly painful for deep tissue routines.
